Vernon Township Animal Control
Connecting Pets with Loving Homes
The Vernon Township Animal Shelter is dedicated to supporting the well-being of our animal population and helping local pets find their forever families. We believe every animal deserves a safe, caring environment while they await their next chapter.
Our Commitment to Vernon
As part of the Vernon Township services, our shelter addresses the vital needs of our community by providing care for lost, abandoned, or surrendered animals. We operate with a focus on public safety and animal welfare, ensuring that every resident has a reliable resource for animal-related needs and adoption opportunities.
How We Care
We operate a dedicated, free-standing animal shelter facility where our team works daily to provide a stable and compassionate environment for animals in our care. Our facility is located off Church Street, adjacent to the local public works complex, serving as a hub for adoptions, rabies control, and temporary housing for pets in need. We are a team committed to maintaining a safe space until our residents are reunited with their families or matched with new adopters.
Your Adoption Journey
Finding a new furry friend should be a joyful and rewarding experience, and we are here to guide you through the process. Whether you are looking for a loyal dog or a charming cat, our team provides the support you need to make a successful, life-long connection. We encourage you to preview our adoptable animals online at petfinder.com before scheduling your personal visit.
