Pals For Paws is dedicated to rescuing animals in need and finding them the loving, forever homes they deserve. We exist to be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves, ensuring every dog in our care has a bright future ahead.
Our Commitment to the Community
For over 25 years, our all-volunteer team has proudly served Kokomo, Indiana, and surrounding areas. We were founded on the mission to reduce pet abandonment and owner surrenders by fostering a compassionate community where stray, neglected, or unwanted animals can find peace and security.
A Dedicated Path to Healing
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we operate entirely through the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our foster families. Our foster-based network provides abandoned or abused pets with the love, training, and high-quality medical care needed to heal their wounds. Because we are a no-kill rescue, we treat every pet with the care they need to thrive, regardless of their health challenges, until they are ready for their new family.

We believe that adoption is about creating a lifelong partnership built on understanding. Our volunteers take the time to get to know the unique personality and needs of every dog in our care, allowing us to make the most successful, heartwarming matches for both the pet and the adopter. Every dog is spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, ensuring they are ready for a healthy, happy start in their new home.
