Our History
Since our founding in 1868, we have been a national leader in preventing animal cruelty and rescuing those in need. For over 150 years, we have continuously transformed how pet guardians and their furry friends access lifesaving care, evolving from our early beginnings to become the innovative organization we are today.
Our Care Model
We operate out of our state-of-the-art campus, where our dedicated team provides comprehensive medical and behavioral assessments for every animal in our care. Our facility is designed to support each animal’s physical and emotional health, ensuring they are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before they find their forever families.
