Our Mission
Cat Depot is dedicated to saving lives, finding loving homes, and providing the resources and education needed to improve the destiny of homeless cats. We strive to create a compassionate future for every cat we meet.
Our Story
What began in 2003 as an emergency response to save 262 cats has evolved into a nationally recognized leader in feline welfare. We realized Sarasota needed a true safe haven built specifically for cats, and we have spent the last two decades building that sanctuary for our community.
Our Care Model
We operate an 11,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility designed to honor the well-being and individuality of every cat. Our environment is free-roaming and cage-free, allowing our residents to live in comfort rather than cold kennels while they wait for their new families.
