Our Mission
Pet Pride of New York saves the lives of homeless cats in our community by providing shelter, compassionate veterinary care, and placement into loving, permanent homes.
Our History and Purpose
Since our founding in 1977 by Jacqueline Russel and Dr. Stuart Gluckman, we have been dedicated to the belief that every cat deserves a safe place to live. What began in a garage has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has operated its own dedicated sanctuary and adoption center in Victor, New York, since 2000.
How We Care
Our cats live in a spacious 4,500-square-foot sanctuary set on 15 wooded acres, featuring sunny catios, ramps, and climbing cubbies. Kittens are welcomed into our Kitten Kingdom, a dedicated space designed to encourage play and exploration. We prioritize the mental and physical well-being of every resident, providing high-standard medical care through our on-site Healing Paws Medical Center.
