The Edgewood Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing high-quality care, shelter, and support for our canine and feline friends. We strive to create a stable, safe environment for both the animals and the citizens within our community.

Located where the mountains meet the plains, our department serves the incorporated Town of Edgewood by providing essential care for impounded animals and those awaiting their forever homes. By responding to local needs and offering vital animal control services, we work every day to protect and improve the lives of our local pets.
How We Help
Our shelter operates as a dedicated facility open seven days a week to ensure our residents receive consistent, compassionate attention. While our primary intakes consist of local strays, we also support owner surrenders and collaborate with various rescues on a case-by-case basis. We are also proud participants in the Bissell 'Empty the Shelters' program, which helps us connect more animals with loving families.
