Poodle Rescue of New England is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and successful placement of homeless poodles. Our core mission is to match the right poodle into the right home, ensuring a lifetime of love and companionship.
Who We Are
Since 1999, we have been working with veterinarians, shelters, and families to help poodles in need across New England and Upstate New York. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are an all-volunteer organization supported entirely by private donations, reflecting our deep commitment to the welfare of these wonderful dogs.
Our Foster-Based Care
Poodle Rescue of New England does not operate a physical shelter facility. Instead, all our dogs are cared for by dedicated volunteers in temporary foster homes, which allows us to evaluate each dog’s unique personality, health, and needs in a real-home environment. Before finding their forever families, every dog receives necessary veterinary care, including spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and grooming.
Building Lifelong Matches
We believe that successful adoptions are built on careful, intentional matching rather than a first-come, first-served process. Our team evaluates every application on a case-by-case basis to ensure that the individual needs of the poodle align perfectly with the lifestyle and environment of the adopter. By taking this time, we foster deep, lasting connections between our rescues and their new families.
