The Animal Shelter of Linn County is dedicated to creating a compassionate living environment for people and animals through rescue, adoption, and humane education. We believe that by working together, we can provide a brighter future for the animals in our care.
Our Commitment to Care
We are constantly evolving to provide the best possible environment for our residents. Recently, we have completed major upgrades to our indoor and outdoor pens, and we are currently building a new outdoor dog run and play area thanks to the generosity of our donors. These enhancements ensure that every animal has a clean, comfortable, and stimulating space while they wait for their forever homes.
How We Operate
Located one mile south of Brookfield on MO Highway 11, our facility serves as a hub of activity and care. Beyond rescue and adoption, we are proud to offer a Pet Pantry program, which provides essential support to help owners keep their pets fed and healthy within our community.
