Miss Kitty’s Cat House is dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens and finding them loving, forever homes. Since 2002, we have focused on providing a safe, compassionate bridge for felines on their journey to new families.
Founded by Lolli McAllister and later directed by Carolyn Taylor, our organization officially became a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in 2005. Thanks to a generous endowment, we established our current home in a historic Victorian building in Prescott, Arizona, which was renovated by dedicated volunteers to create a pleasant, temporary sanctuary for our rescues.
Our facility offers a unique, cage-free environment where adult cats roam freely, enjoying cat perches, comfortable furniture, and window views. We operate as an all-volunteer organization, with local volunteers visiting daily to provide cleaning, feeding, and essential socialization. For our kittens, we rely on a network of foster homes to provide a safe, nurturing start before they are ready to meet their new families at our adoption events.
We believe in finding the perfect fit for both our cats and your household. By meeting our cats on neutral ground, you can better observe their unique personalities and traits in a safe environment. Whether you are looking for a playful companion or a quiet lap cat, we are here to help you make a thoughtful, lifelong connection.
Since 2008, we have helped over 5,000 cats and kittens find their forever homes, but we cannot do it without you. We invite you to view our adoptable cats, visit our website to learn more, or contact us to see how you can make a difference through adoption or volunteering.
