Our mission is to make animal care accessible to all members of our community by offering diverse, supportive programs for healthcare and placement for animals in need. We are dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate bridge to a better life for every pet we touch.
Paw Project of Georgia was established by seven strong, like-minded individuals who bring over 110 years of collective experience in animal rescue and veterinary medicine. We recognized a vital need to provide low-income families with access to essential medical care while simultaneously rescuing animals from situations of abuse, neglect, or shelter environments.
We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, functioning as both a wellness center and a rescue organization. Our care model relies on a network of dedicated foster homes, which allows us to provide a loving environment for animals while they await their forever families. We are committed to transparency in our operations, ensuring that every animal in our care receives necessary vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter services.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find the perfect match for your home and lifestyle. Because we prioritize the welfare of our animals, we utilize an adoption application process to ensure that each pet finds the right placement. We take pride in seeing our rescues transition into their new, happy chapters of life.
We invite you to join our community and make a difference!
