The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Bartlesville is dedicated to helping animals in need by providing compassionate care, promoting adoption, and educating our community on animal welfare. We are here to ensure that every rescued animal finds a safe, loving, and permanent forever home.
Founded in 1999, ARF began with two individuals who shared a dream of rescuing abandoned animals. What started with limited resources and local partnerships has blossomed into a reality fueled by our board, a village of dedicated volunteers, and generous supporters.
Our rescue efforts have grown significantly, and we are proud to operate a dedicated 8,000 square foot facility on 18 acres, serving as a sanctuary for an average of 60 to 70 dogs, cats, and kittens. While we maintain this safe haven for those waiting for their families, we also rely on our wonderful volunteer team to provide daily care, socialization, and maintenance. As a non-profit organization, we operate entirely through private donations, ensuring that those rescued who may never be adopted can still live out a happy life with food, shelter, and plenty of love.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we strive to make the best selection for both the pet and the lifestyle of the potential adopter. We carefully review every application to ensure our rescues are placed in the perfect home, creating lasting connections that stand the test of time. Our adoption process is designed to be transparent, ensuring that every pet and family is set up for long-term success.
We invite you to experience the difference our rescues can make in your life. Please visit our facility on US 60 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm, Monday through Saturday, to meet our available animals or contact us today to learn about current volunteer opportunities and upcoming events.
