The Humane Society of Houston County, Inc. is a dedicated 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to save homeless animals and connect them with loving, forever families. We are committed to reducing the number of abandoned and abused animals while promoting responsible pet care throughout Middle Georgia.

Proudly serving Houston County and the surrounding areas, we operate as a completely independent, volunteer-led organization. We are not a branch of any national humane society and rely entirely on the generosity of private donations, adoption fees, and our tireless team of volunteers to fulfill our mission.
