Compassion Without Borders is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing a brighter future for animals in need on both sides of the border. We believe that every animal deserves care, love, and respect, regardless of the geographic, cultural, or socioeconomic barriers they face.
Founded in 2001 by Christi and Moncho Camblor, our organization was built on a vision to reach animals in the most urgent need of help. We identify those who are least likely to be helped, operating with a specialized approach that spans both Mexico and the United States to ensure that no animal is left behind.
We take a multifaceted approach to animal welfare, combining rescue efforts with essential veterinary services. Our programs include international dog rescue from Mexico, rescue operations in California’s Central Valley, and veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved neighborhoods. Whether through our Muttopia shelter or our dedicated rescue networks, we work tirelessly to provide compassionate care to animals in transition.
Choosing to adopt is a beautiful way to change a life forever. By bringing one of our rescue dogs into your home, you are participating in a journey of recovery and transformation that impacts both your family and the animal you welcome. We are here to support you through the process, ensuring that every match is made with care and thoughtful consideration.
You can make a difference today by opening your heart to a new companion or supporting our ongoing efforts. We invite you to meet the wonderful dogs available for adoption right now or learn more about how you can volunteer, foster, or donate to support our work.
