Our History and Purpose
Since our founding in 1984, we have remained a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization focused on saving lives. We operate as a no-kill rescue, driven by the belief that every animal deserves a quality life regardless of their background, personality, or any temporary handicaps they may face.
Our Care Model
We work through a compassionate, dual-approach system that relies on a network of dedicated volunteer foster homes and our Adoption Center in Hamburg, NY. Animals begin their journey in foster homes where they receive socialization and love before transitioning to our center, ensuring they are healthy, stable, and ready to become a cherished member of your family.
