Oakdale Animal Control is dedicated to serving the communities of Oakdale, Riverbank, and Escalon by protecting animal welfare and fostering meaningful connections between pets and their new families.
Operating from a facility originally built in the 1970s, we have grown and adapted our site to meet the expanding needs of our residents. Our team, comprised of dedicated staff and a supervisor, works tirelessly to provide shelter, medical support, and humane care to the animals that come into our care.
Our facility is equipped with specialized spaces for dogs and cats, including inside-outside runs, quarantine kennels, and a dedicated cat adoption room. Beyond our on-site amenities, we are supported by the incredible efforts of our volunteers who assist with socialization, extra care for special needs animals, and off-site adoption events to help every animal find a loving home.
Adopting from our shelter offers the unique joy of saving a life while knowing your new companion has received an initial veterinary checkup and essential vaccinations. By bringing a shelter pet into your home, you become a partner in our mission to reduce the number of unwanted litters and provide a stable, loving environment for animals in need.
Are you ready to grow your family? We invite you to visit our facility at 9800 Liberini Road to meet the many potential pets waiting to meet you. You can also stay connected with our community by following the Oakdale Shelter Pet Alliance on Facebook or visiting our website to view available animals and learn more about our foster programs.
