Paddy’s Paws is dedicated to finding good homes for good dogs with good people. We believe in Rescue Done Right, ensuring every animal receives the care and support they need to thrive in a loving environment.
Founded in late 2014 and becoming a nonprofit in 2015, our organization was born from a desire to provide a second chance for dogs in need. Our connection to Houston, Texas, began with a partnership aimed at saving homeless dogs from high-kill shelters, and we have since helped over 4,500 dogs find their forever homes. Beyond this mission, we also assist with local owner surrenders right here in Wisconsin.
Paddy’s Paws is a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based organization without an on-site facility. Our dogs live in loving foster homes across the Fort Atkinson area and beyond, where they receive socialization, training, and affection while waiting for their perfect match. Because we rely on the dedication of our volunteers, we coordinate everything from individual meet-and-greets to transport events with the utmost care.
We believe that adoption is a joyful, life-changing partnership, not just a transaction. Using our expert match-making skills and a thorough application process, we work to ensure that each dog is placed in a home that is the best possible fit for their unique personality and needs. We are more than just a rescue; we are a family that supports our adopters throughout their special journey.
