Save A Dog is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes who have become homeless for any reason. We strive to provide a compassionate path for these animals to find their forever families, ensuring that every dog we touch receives a second chance at a happy life.
Why We Do What We Do
Founded in 1999 as a 501c3 nonprofit, we recognize the immense challenge of pet overpopulation. By working with shelters both within Massachusetts and across the country where resources are scarce, we aim to maximize the number of dogs we save and protect them from unnecessary euthanasia.
Our Approach to Care
Our organization is proudly volunteer-based and operates out of our shelter in Sudbury, Massachusetts, while also utilizing a network of dedicated foster homes. We believe in a holistic approach to animal welfare, combining conventional and homeopathic veterinary care, positive reinforcement training, and high-quality nutrition to ensure our dogs thrive during their stay with us.
