Founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds, The Bond Between has grown into a first-in-its-class animal well-being organization. Over the last 15 years, we have rescued over 35,000 animals, realizing that our relationships with pets are a vital foundation for a harmonious world.
Our Care Model
As a foster-based organization, we rely on a dedicated community of volunteers to provide safe, loving homes while our animals prepare for their next chapter. Beyond rescue, we offer holistic support through a pet food shelf, respite foster care, and low-cost veterinary clinics to keep families and their pets together during temporary crises.
