Our Mission
Rescue One is dedicated to saving lives by providing compassionate rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming for animals in need. We are committed to giving every dog in our care a second chance at a safe, loving future.
Who We Are
Since forming in 2013, our 501(c)(3) organization has helped save thousands of animals in the Springfield, Missouri area. We were founded on the belief that we must step in when other options are limited, working tirelessly to provide medical care and support to vulnerable animals regardless of their breed or background.
Our Foster-Based Promise
Rescue One operates primarily as a foster-based rescue, meaning our animals live in loving homes rather than traditional kennel facilities while awaiting their forever families. To bolster this mission, we operate our own 3,000-square-foot medical facility, which allows us to provide essential veterinary care, surgical support, and emergency services for the animals in our program.
