Our Mission
Peace of Mind Dog Rescue serves as a dedicated resource and advocate for senior dogs and senior people living on California's Central Coast. We strive to create meaningful connections that enhance the lives of both our dogs and their human companions.
Why We Are Here
We recognize the unique bond between seniors and their pets, and we aim to preserve that relationship whenever possible. Our organization was established to provide a safety net for dogs whose guardians can no longer provide care, as well as for senior dogs in need of homes from our local shelters.
How We Help
Our commitment to the community is reflected in our diverse programs, including our Helping Paw initiative, which provides volunteer and financial assistance to help seniors keep their pets. Through our Perpetual Care program, we make pre-arrangements for dogs whose guardians may become unable to care for them in the future. We operate from our facility at the Patricia J. Bauer Center in Pacific Grove to ensure every dog receives the love and support they deserve.
