Puppies rescued from a South Georgia animal shelter, which was destroyed by the ongoing wildfires in the area, are getting a second chance at life.
3/21 - Atlanta Humane Hosts State Fair Dog Adoption Event - Atlanta Today
Atlanta Humane is hosting a dog adoption event at their facility on March 21, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The event will feature various adoptable dogs, and all adoptions will include spay/neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, and more.

The Twiggs County Sheriff's Office says they worked alongside local, state, and federal agencies in an investigation to bring down the years-long dog fighting ring.
