Our Commitment to Care

Since our founding, our mission has been to serve the Wilmington community by offering essential animal sheltering, adoption services, and emergency support. We are proud of our recently renovated facility, which is designed to provide comfort and care to the animals waiting for their new families.

A Welcoming Environment

Our shelter at 2405 N. 23rd Street is built with love and tailored to meet our animals' needs. With two fenced-in exercise yards for our dogs and a screened-in porch for our cats, we provide a clean, engaging environment where visitors can get to know our furry friends. We invite you to visit during our business hours, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, to see our progress and meet our residents firsthand.

Finding Your Perfect Companion

Adoption is a joyful partnership, and our team is here to guide you through the process every step of the way. If you are 20 years or older, we encourage you to come in, meet the animals, and fill out an application to begin your journey. We are here to answer your questions and help you find the pet that is the perfect match for your lifestyle.
