The NWA Humane Society for Animals is a dedicated no-kill shelter committed to helping local dogs and cats find loving, permanent homes. We believe every animal deserves a second chance, and we work tirelessly to create joyful, life-changing connections between pets and people.
Our History and Community Commitment
Since our founding in 1963, we have helped more than 100,000 animals, evolving from a small local effort into a vital resource for rural Benton County. Today, we operate out of our modern, purpose-built facility in Rogers, Arkansas, where we continue to provide essential shelter, spaying and neutering services, and community education.
A Hub for Care and Compassion
Operating as a no-kill shelter, we provide care for approximately 85 dogs and 20 cats at any given time. Beyond our daily care, we manage a specialized Transport Hub that allows us to assist in emergency rescues, collaborate with regional partners, and place local pets in loving homes far beyond our immediate borders.
