Our Mission

Woodbridge Animal Group (WAG) is dedicated to helping shelter pets heal, ensuring every homeless animal in our care can find their way home. We work tirelessly to provide compassionate support for animals at the Woodbridge Animal Shelter & Pet Adoption Center.

Why We Exist

As a NJ 501(c)(3) non-profit, WAG is comprised of a dedicated group of people who care deeply about the health and welfare of local animals. We believe that no adoptable shelter pet should go without the essential medical care they need, from life-saving surgeries to intensive diagnostic treatments.

How We Operate

WAG operates solely on donations to augment the veterinary and rehabilitative needs of animals in the Woodbridge Animal Shelter’s care. While we do not work in a rescue capacity, we provide vital funding and community outreach to ensure each pet receives the highest level of professional treatment during their stay. Our team works in close alignment with the municipal shelter to support both the facility's furry, feathered, and scaly residents.
