Our Mission

Wags & Walks is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to saving at-risk dogs and helping them find loving, permanent homes. We believe in proving that rescue dogs are truly wonderful pets regardless of their breed, size, or age.

Our Story

Founded in 2011 by Lesley Brog, our rescue was born out of a desire to reduce euthanasia in local shelters caused by overcrowding. Since our inception, we have been proud to help nearly 17,000 dogs find their forever families across our locations in Los Angeles and Nashville.

How We Operate

We work as a foster-based organization, placing our rescue dogs into loving homes while they await adoption. This environment allows us to learn their unique personalities and better prepare them for life with their new families, though we also operate dedicated adoption centers where you can meet our pups in person.

We believe that loving families come in all shapes and sizes, and our goal is to find every pup an adopter whose lifestyle is a perfect fit. Through our thoughtful matchmaking process and lifetime support, we ensure that both you and your new furry friend are set up for a lifetime of happiness.
