Our Mission
TippedEars is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of community cats through humane, effective Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) practices. We believe that by preventing the birth of excess kittens, we can ensure every cat has the opportunity for a healthy, happy life.
Why We Started
Our organization was founded on the belief that we all share a responsibility to address the cat overpopulation crisis at its roots. Recognizing that shelters are often at capacity, our team saw a vital need to focus on community cats in Compton, CA, stopping the cycle of suffering before it begins. We are passionate about making a lasting, positive difference for every feline we encounter.
How We Operate
TippedEars is a foster-based organization and does not operate a physical shelter location. Instead, our rescued kittens and friendly cats live in loving foster homes throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties until they are ready for their forever families. We are proud to partner with the Cool Cat Collective in Long Beach, where you can meet some of our adoptable residents in person.
The Adopter Connection
When you adopt from TippedEars, you are giving a second chance to a cat who truly needs it. We ensure that all our adoptable cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and fully vaccinated before they come home with you. We take great care to match our rescued cats with the perfect adopters to ensure a lifetime of joy for both you and your new companion.
