Davie County Animal Services is dedicated to maintaining a safe, caring environment for both the people and the animals within our community. Our mission is to provide professional care for pets in need while helping them find their forever homes.
Operating as a division of the Davie County Sheriff’s Office, we have grown to meet the needs of our expanding community. We provide essential animal-related services including public safety investigations, rabies control, and the management of our local animal shelter in Mocksville.
Our facility provides a central space for the care and welfare of animals, ranging from stray intake to adoption services. While many of our residents arrive as strays, our team provides necessary vaccinations, microchipping, and mandatory spay or neuter services for all adopted pets to ensure they are healthy and ready for their new families.
We believe that bringing a pet home is a fulfilling responsibility and we are honored to help you make that connection. By spending time with our available animals, you can find the perfect fit for your lifestyle and help us create a successful, lasting partnership. Our staff is here to guide you through this process with transparency and support to ensure everyone is set up for success.
We invite you to visit our facility in Mocksville Tuesday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., to meet the wonderful dogs and cats currently waiting for their new families. You can view our available pets online at any time or contact us at 336-750-7655 to learn more about our current residents. We look forward to seeing you at the shelter and helping you welcome a new member into your home.
