Our Mission
Guardian Angels Cat Rescue & Adoption Shelter is dedicated to the core mission of providing shelter and assistance to stray, abandoned, injured, and homeless cats and kittens. We strive to help those that cannot help themselves by placing them into loving, forever homes.
Our Story
Founded in 2001 by Virginia Harvey and her associates, we began our journey in the Historic District of Hot Springs with a vision to serve our community's feline friends. Since becoming a 501(c)3 charitable organization in 2006, we have continued to evolve, moving to our current facility on Hobson Avenue in 2016 to ensure a clean, humane, and professional environment for the animals in our care.
How We Help
Our work is made possible by the generosity of our community and the support of our onsite thrift store, where all proceeds directly fund our shelter operations. We are a volunteer-driven organization, with a team dedicated to providing essential medical care to every resident, including vaccinations, spay or neuter services, and health screenings. Through our commitment to Garland County, we also offer spay and neuter voucher programs to help keep our local pet population healthy and stable.
