At Super Heroes Humane Society, we believe that small actions create big change for the animals in our community. Our mission is to provide life-saving care, second chances, and finding loving, forever homes for those who need them most.
Our Story
Founded to meet an urgent local demand for low-cost spay/neuter services and a community pet food pantry, we officially became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2018. We have grown into a dedicated organization because our community believes, just as we do, that every animal deserves a chance to thrive.
How We Help
We combine a professional shelter facility in rural Oneonta, NY, with a robust network of foster homes. We know that a home setting is vital for an animal’s well-being, so our fosters act as a crucial extension of our shelter walls. Through this approach, we provide compassionate care to hundreds of animals every year.
