Our Story

Founded in 2008 as a no-kill shelter, we began as a grassroots response to the housing crisis that left many pets abandoned. We recognized that when families face life challenges—such as medical emergencies, domestic violence, or financial hardship—their pets often suffer, too. Today, we continue to bridge the gap between human crisis response and pet care.

How We Help

We operate a physical shelter in Tempe, Arizona, that serves as a safe haven for animals in transition. Our unique approach goes beyond simple rescue; we provide temporary care for up to 90 days, a pet food bank for families in need, and collaborative programs with local first responders and domestic violence shelters. By keeping pets safe and healthy while their owners navigate difficult times, we ensure that the bonds between pets and their families remain strong.
