Welcome to Midwest Animal ResQ (MARQ), a dedicated federal 501c3 non-profit organization located in the greater Kansas City area. Since our founding in 2009, we have been on a mission to rescue and rehabilitate dogs from inhumane conditions, particularly those from large-scale breeding facilities. At MARQ, we believe in the power of compassion, not only for pets but also for the people who choose to adopt them. Our mission statement, "Completing families one tail at a time," reflects our commitment to understanding both the needs of our animals and the desires of our adopters. We take great care to ensure that every adoption is a perfect match, providing a 30-day trial period for all adult pets to ensure a smooth transition into their new homes. Our passionate network of volunteers and fosters plays a crucial role in our work, providing shelter, care, and love to animals in need until they find their forever homes. We are especially committed to providing medical treatment for all animals that come into our care, as many require significant medical intervention. Our variable adoption pricing allows us to continue this vital work, though it is essential to note that our adoption fees do not cover the total costs associated with animal care.
