Cats In Need of Human Care is a dedicated organization of volunteers working together with our community to find safe, loving forever homes for homeless pets. We strive to promote responsible cat ownership and the vital importance of spay and neuter programs.

Why We Are Here

As a completely volunteer-run 501(c)(3) rescue organization, we were founded on the belief that every cat deserves a life of safety and affection. We work passionately to address the needs of homeless animals in our service areas, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve while awaiting their transition into a permanent family.

How We Help

We operate as a community-focused rescue that showcases our foster cats and kittens through our partnerships and online platforms. Our rescue relies entirely on the generosity of our supporters to provide food, essential medical care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services for every animal in our care. We are not a traditional shelter; instead, our network of volunteers provides the foster support and medical guidance necessary to prepare these animals for adoption.
