Animal Rescue Project is dedicated to saving homeless pets one at a time, providing the medical care they need, and placing them into loving, lifelong homes. We believe in creating brighter futures for pets in need through compassionate care and responsible adoption services.

Who We Are

Founded in 2010, our organization has grown into a vital community resource for Southwest Michigan. We are a self-sustaining, non-profit organization that operates solely through the support of pet lovers like you, receiving no financial assistance from government agencies or national organizations.

How We Help

We operate as a no-kill shelter, focusing on at-risk pets rescued from pound facilities and overcrowded shelters. Every animal receives high-quality veterinary care, vaccinations, and a safe, comfortable environment at our facility, the Charles and Lynn Zhang Animal Rescue Center, while they wait for their forever families.
