Our Role in the Community
Operating under the Burlington County Health Department, we serve as the vital rabies control point for our 40 municipalities. Beyond our public safety responsibilities, we are committed to reuniting lost pets with their owners and providing a safe harbor for stray and unwanted animals in need of a second chance.
How We Care for Our Animals
We operate a county facility with a strong no-kill philosophy, working alongside dedicated volunteers and rescue partners to save over a thousand lives each year. Every animal in our care receives essential veterinary attention, including spay and neuter services, vaccinations, and de-worming, to ensure they are healthy and ready for their new families.
