The Humane Society of the South Platte Valley is dedicated to serving the pets and people of our community with compassion and care. We are committed to providing a safe haven for animals in need while working toward finding them their perfect forever homes.
Serving the South Denver Community
Established as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, HSSPV was built specifically to serve the communities of south Denver. We take pride in being a local resource that bridges the gap between animals in transition and families looking for a new companion.
Providing Quality Care
Our facility, located in Littleton, serves as a hub of activity where animals receive dedicated attention during their stay with us. On average, our residents spend about 9-14 days in our care, during which our team ensures they are comfortable and supported. We strive to maintain a professional environment that prioritizes the well-being of every dog and cat that comes through our doors.
