Our Mission

The Humane Society of Eastern Oregon is dedicated to providing a safe haven for homeless animals, reuniting families with their lost pets, and finding loving, forever homes for those in our care. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at a life filled with comfort and companionship.

Serving Our Community

As an open-door, non-profit facility, we serve as the municipal animal shelter for the city of Hermiston and surrounding areas in Umatilla and Morrow County. We provide essential care for dogs and cats who have been abandoned, lost, or surrendered due to difficult circumstances, ensuring they receive the support they need while waiting for their new families.
