Our Mission
Cat Haven is dedicated to making our community a safer, kinder place for felines. We are a no-kill rescue organization committed to helping homeless cats find loving, forever homes.
Our Story
Since 1999, Cat Haven has served as a beacon of hope for unwanted cats and kittens in Greater Baton Rouge. What began as a grassroots effort relying on foster homes and events has grown into a professional organization that has successfully placed more than 23,000 cats into loving families.
How We Care
We operate through a blend of dedicated staff and over 50 active volunteers who ensure our cats receive compassionate care. Our current facility provides a welcoming environment, and we are thrilled to be developing a new, larger space that will feature a cage-free adoption center and Baton Rouge's first-ever cat café.
