Our Mission
Paws Fur Recovery is a private, no-kill dog rescue committed to creating second chances for dogs that find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. We strive to help both humans and animals heal, providing a safe haven where every paw-print tells a story of hope and transformation.
Why We Rescue
Founded on a foundation of compassion, we serve the Treasure Coast by rescuing nearly 200 dogs each year. We step in to support abandoned or surrendered animals, providing the dedicated care they need to recover from the traumas of homelessness and abandonment.
Our Approach
Our work is made possible by our dedicated team of staff and volunteers who provide care 365 days a year. We operate from a climate-controlled kennel facility on a 20-acre ranch in Indiantown, Florida, complemented by a network of foster homes. Through individualized care, medical support—including treatment for conditions like heartworm—and behavioral enrichment, we ensure every dog is ready for their new life.
