Since 1965, the Humane Society of Henderson County has been a trusted advocate for animals, dedicated to the belief that every animal deserves a second chance. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome thousands of pets each year while promoting responsible pet ownership in our community.

For nearly six decades, we have served Henderson County by providing vital animal control services and a safe haven for those in need. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to save lives every day, resulting in the care of over 2,600 animals annually and the successful reunification of hundreds of lost pets with their worried families.
