At the Rea Family Animal Shelter, also known as the Ogemaw County Humane Society, our passion is animal welfare. We are dedicated to providing care for the forgotten, neglected, and unwanted pets who find themselves in need of a second chance.

Our staff is Fear Free certified, ensuring we actively reduce the fear, anxiety, stress, and frustration that animals can experience in a shelter environment. Additionally, we partner with Hills Science Diet to ensure all our residents receive high-quality nutritional care.
