The BC SPCA is dedicated to protecting vulnerable animals and mobilizing communities so that animals and people can thrive together. We strive to create a more humane world where every animal is treated with compassion and respect.

As the largest animal welfare organization of its kind in North America, we serve as a vital resource for the Victoria community. We are honored to be located on the unceded traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ and Lək̓ʷəŋən People, and we work tirelessly to ensure that pets, farm animals, and local wildlife receive the care and protection they deserve.
How We Help
Our Victoria community animal care centre serves as a safe, temporary sanctuary for animals in need. We provide essential medical assessments, vaccinations, and spay or neuter surgeries for every animal in our care to ensure they are healthy and ready for their next chapter. By relying on the support of compassionate community members, we are able to provide these life-saving services every single day.
