As the primary facility for Gilmer County, we serve as a dedicated resource for animals picked up by Animal Control and those in need of shelter. Our work ensures that animals have a secure place to stay while we facilitate their transition into new, permanent families.
How We Care for Our Animals
We take pride in preparing each animal for their new home through comprehensive care. Our adoption fees include essential health services such as spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and parvovirus, and a heartworm check. We are committed to maintaining a clean, professional environment where our animals are exercised and socialized daily.

We are located at 4152 Highway 52 East in Ellijay and are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 1pm to 4pm.
