As one of Marin’s oldest nonprofit organizations, we have dedicated our history to being a pillar of support for our community. We are an independent organization—not affiliated with the ASPCA or the Humane Society of the United States—relying entirely on the generosity of our supporters to provide care for those who need it most.

As an open-door shelter, we provide care for every animal brought to us in Marin County, regardless of age, health, or behavioral history. Our dedicated team uses a compassionate, multi-disciplinary approach, utilizing shelter facilities and a robust foster network to ensure every animal receives the attention they deserve while they wait for their forever home.
