Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is dedicated to bettering the lives of companion animals and the people who love them. We strive to create a kinder world where all companion animals are valued, cared for, and thriving.
Founded in 2007, we have served the Western North Carolina region for nearly two decades. While we faced a catastrophic loss of our physical shelter due to Hurricane Helene, our commitment to our community and the animals we serve has never been stronger as we rebuild for the future.
We work across county lines to save the greatest number of lives possible through strategic and impactful programming. Our model relies on a blend of lifesaving shelter transfer partnerships, pet retention programs like Stay Together, and extensive foster and volunteer networks. By working together, we ensure that animals in need receive the second chances they deserve.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to making safe, thoughtful placements for every animal in our care. We evaluate each pet as an individual, gathering insights from staff, volunteers, and foster families to ensure a successful match for your home. We believe that when people and animals come together, they create a special bond that enriches lives.
We are currently in a transition as we rebuild, so we invite you to view our available animals on our website to begin the process. Please connect with us to learn more about our adoptable companions or to find out how you can support our ongoing mission. Together, we save lives.
