Kittyland Cat & Kitten Rescue is dedicated to providing abandoned and neglected cats with compassion, respect, and love. We believe in giving every cat a second chance at a happy life, ensuring that those in our care are nurtured in a safe, dignified environment.
Our History and Community
Located on a 3-acre sanctuary in Desert Hot Springs, our facility has served as a vital refuge for animals in need for over 35 years. Following a transition in 2014, our team stepped in to secure this historic site, transforming it into a sanctuary dedicated exclusively to protecting the Coachella Valley’s most vulnerable feline residents.
How We Care for Our Cats
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we operate through the tireless efforts of our dedicated volunteers. Our sanctuary provides a peaceful, climate-controlled setting where senior, disabled, and unwanted cats are valued and can live out their lives in peace. Beyond the sanctuary, our volunteers support medical care, socialization, and foster programs to ensure every cat receives the attention they deserve.
