Our History and Community
Founded in 1971, we have spent over 50 years serving as a regional resource for animals and their families. We provide shelter to vulnerable animals from 24 Florida counties and beyond, offering them a safe space and a second chance at a bright future.
Our Care Model
We take an innovative, community-focused approach that goes beyond traditional sheltering. Through our on-site clinic, we offer affordable prevention services to ensure every pet can receive proper care, regardless of the owner's income. Additionally, our robust foster care program and dedicated volunteers help us provide the enrichment and rehabilitation many animals need while they wait for their forever homes.
