The Lovejoy Foundation is a no-kill animal welfare organization dedicated to transforming the lives of animals in need and promoting responsible pet ownership. We envision a compassionate world where every animal is valued, loved, and given the chance to live a happy, healthy life.
Our Story
Founded in 2010 by Erin Lovejoy, our foundation serves as a beacon of hope for dogs facing neglect, abuse, or abandonment. Beyond animal rescue, we are deeply rooted in our community, collaborating with local partners to provide food distributions, support for the homeless, and employment opportunities for individuals with special needs.
How We Care
We are committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs, prioritizing spaying and neutering to address the root causes of pet overpopulation. Our dedicated team and volunteers provide ongoing wellness care, socialization, and a safe haven until each animal finds their perfect match. We believe that better relationships between people and animals lead to a healthier, more compassionate society.

Through our comprehensive adoption process—including in-person interviews and home checks—we ensure that every placement is set up for long-term success.
