The Humane Society of Marion County is dedicated to enriching the lives of animals through compassionate care, community education, and successful placements into forever homes. Since 2010, we have helped over 32,000 animals find the love and support they deserve.

How We Help
Our shelter in Ocala provides a safe, clean, and loving environment for animals while they await their forever families. We go beyond basic shelter, offering essential veterinary services through our clinic, supporting local Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts, and providing educational programs for our youth.
