Our Mission
Begin Again Rescue Co (BARC) is committed to saving the dogs who need us most, one by one, until there are none. We believe every dog deserves a fresh start and a future filled with love.
Why We Rescue
As an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we provide a safe haven for dogs removed from abusive or neglectful situations, as well as those at risk of euthanasia in shelters. We are driven by a culture of compassion and community, working to ensure these resilient animals find the security they have been denied.
Our Foster-Based Model
Team BARC does not operate a physical shelter facility. Instead, we function as a dedicated foster-based network where our dogs receive individualized care, socialization, and medical attention—including spay/neuter services and vaccinations—in loving temporary homes until they are ready to join their permanent families.
