Founded in 2002 as a 501(c)3 non-profit, we began our journey as a virtual organization working within the local community to save lives. Over the years, our mission grew from grassroots adoption events into a dedicated physical shelter, proving that a no-kill environment can thrive through the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our volunteers.

Our Unique Approach

We believe every cat deserves a stress-free environment, which is why our adoption center in Wells features five spacious, sunny, and cage-free rooms. Rather than stainless steel cages, our residents enjoy open spaces, bird feeders, and cozy furniture where they can socialize freely. This dedicated care, including expert veterinary support, ensures every kitty is ready for their next chapter.

Building Forever Partnerships

We pride ourselves on a unique, thoughtful adoption process that prioritizes long-term success for both the cat and the family. Our team carefully screens potential adopters and conducts home visits to ensure a safe, loving environment before the final match is made. We even deliver your new companion directly to your home, fostering a strong, supportive relationship that continues long after the adoption is complete.
